Fall Tournament
The August tournament started early today with much sword clashing and the usual GC shit talking. Fleet’s main interests are securing the totems in our Land Claim. If interested in partaking, contact leadership in [YARR]. If you are participating please make sure to use informational subject lines in your combat reports.
Bad subject lines: : Failed attack against Arya’s forces at [324|-2632] in Vindorel by Grumpy Drunk’s forces from The Black Arrow
Good subject lines: The Orken Coast – Still holding, Jurgor needs another hit (etc)
The point is so at a glance your readers know the status of each relevant tournament square. Failure to oblige will result in a name and shame in the next article.
Continued Readiness
I would like to stress to ensure that military production is maintained during this tournament beyond the obvious reason. Alliances in the past have used tournaments as a means to attack other alliances after deducing that the latter are using the bulk of their forces in the tournament.
This is the time to be paranoid, make sure you’re keeping up on your crafted good procurement and troop production.
Limited Removal
The enforced removal of HairyShort is ongoing with initial success with the capture of one of his Jurgor towns and the capture of his newest settlement in Calumnex. Dwarven Lords, which was shocked at our speed, requested additional time for his cities to be given a chance for exodus. This was agreed upon after a sum of 200 million gold and other crafting components were given to the Fleet. While limited harassing action has continued, we are halting siege operations until that time is expired.
Judging by Hairy’s growth statistics it looks like he could not handle the stress of being in the wrong and has taken a break for an undetermined amount of time. If he does not return to exodus his cities then his stress will surely multiply at no great loss to the Fleet.
If you would like to be a beneficiary of one of his cities be sure to contact Orcimedes.
Bring Glory to the Pirate King in this tournament
