Land Claim
The work is on-going with a surveyed three hundred and thirty seven other illegal towns.
I have received reports of several new (to us) non-Pirate towns having been forcibly relocated by some members in the Fleet. We applaud those willing to travel these long distances to kick these illegal settlers out of our lands.
The best way to combat these illegal residents is a two-fold strike. The first is to ‘encourage’ them to leave either with military arms or diplomatic pressure. The second is to almost immediately move a Pirate vessel within the area to deny any future settlers.
Middle-Kingdom Cluster
The Grand Fleet has long held a cluster in the Middle-Kingdom. The purposes are many, a strategic center for Elgean campaigns, a tournament center to contest tournament squares, and to buy low and sell high. Bagno, having decided that it wasn’t bad enough to take Pirate resources and jump ship at the first sign of trouble, has decided to create a shadow land claim to a 20×20 grid centered around Centrum in the MK cluster.
A young Pirate by the name of Sunflower, caught Bagno’s wrath after she settled a small town within that area. It should go without saying but; We do not acknowledge a 20×20 land claim within Centrum and we certainly do not acknowledge one that isn’t publicly available. All of The Grand Fleet’s resources will be devoted to safeguarding her responsibility to administer the southern gate should the need arise.
The journalists on the ground were able to get an audience with King Sigurd’s advisor who acknowledged that Sunflower is administering one of the gates of Centrum. He later added “Any alliance that is able to administer all four gates will receive Praetorian Guards to facilitate that duty.. To be clear, the North Gate is located at 0|2; the South Gate is located at 0|-2; the East Gate is located at 2|0, and the West Gate is located at -2|0. “
The Leader of BRUTE publicly announced that they would defend Sunflower against any removal attempts by Bagno or any other shadow operatives of what has come to be known as ‘Super Centrum’. A few crates of fermented Elven blood were promptly dispatched as an acknowledgement of thanks to Stukahh.
